Denver Cooper, 84 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025, at his residence. He is now blessed with eternal peace and is rejoicing in Heaven after being reunited with his wife. He was born July 5, 1941, in Russell Springs, Kentucky. He is the son of Cleo (Woodrum) Burton. He married Margaret “Clara” L. (Burton) Cooper on August 25, 1960, and she preceded him on July 10, 2021.He is survived by his son, Lloyd Brian Cooper of Elizabethtown, Indiana, daughter Shelisa Lynn (Rick) Ham of Beech Grove, Indiana, several grand and great-grandchildren. Denver was preceded in death by his mother, wife, one brother and one sister Denver retired after 32 years from Cummins Engine Company in Columbus, Indiana. He enjoyed camping, fishing, boating, woodworking, yard work, reading, watching westerns and helping his neighbors. He especially loved time with his family and traveling with his wife. The last four years, he loved his winters in South Florida and how the community made him feel special.  Denver was a very proud man; he loved to help others but rarely asked for help. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 pm by Reverend Guy Hardin on Monday, October 20, 2025, at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh, Indiana.
