(November 1, 1937 - December 22, 2025) Robert L Scifres, 88 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away December 22, 2025, at his residence. He was born November 1, 1937, in Salem, Indiana. He is the son of Arville and Mary Scifres. He married Katherine M (Casey) Scifres and she preceded him in death on January 25, 2016.Robert is survived by his Children, Robert (Camy) Scifres of Indianapolis, Indiana, Michael Scifres of Coal City, Indiana, Eddie Scifres of Edinburgh, Indiana, Gregory Scifres of Columbus, Indiana, Jeanie (David) Williams of Nineveh, Indiana, Mary (Mario) Flores of Illinois and Althea (Dywane) Johnson of Edinburgh, Indiana and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and son, Jeffery Scifres. Robert retired from Internation Paper Company in Illinois after 32 years. He enjoyed fishing, car rides through Atterbury and going to flea markets. Robert enjoyed being with people. A funeral service will be conducted at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, Indiana at 11:00am on Friday, December 26,2025. Calling will be from 10:00am until time of service. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh, Indiana.
