Mario Soria Medina, 77, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Monday, February 9th, 2026. He was born on September 12, 1948, in Manila, Philippines to Antonia (Medina) Miranda and Fidel Miranda. He married Cathy (Montgomery) Medina on June 30, 1990. She lovingly survives. Also surviving are children, Amanda Davison (Josh), Marissa Wallace (Sean), Mario Medina, Jr. (Kristin) and Corajean Medina; grandchildren, Miah, Blake, Catelyn, Danielle, Greddy and Calliope and four brothers and four sisters. He was preceded in passing by his parents. He graduated from the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines. Mario was employed by the Hoosier Park Casino for twenty plus years. Mario was raised in the Catholic faith. He was a Barangay club member. He loved bowling and enjoyed gardening and playing cards. He liked to tell jokes and loved to make people laugh. Mario had a great sense of humor. Father Tim DeCrane will conduct a Celebration of Mario’s life on Saturday, February 14th at 12:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin with visitation on Saturday, February 14th from 10:00 a.m. to time of service at the funeral home.
