Alberta Ann Farr, 92 of Mt. Auburn, Indiana passed away March 4, 2026, at Compass Park in Franklin, Indiana. She was born on September 13, 1933, in Franklin, Indiana and is the daughter of W. Lonnie and Katie Jane (Tressler) Teeters. Alberta married James A. Farr on May 17, 1952 and he preceded her in death on February 8, 2007.Alberta is survived by her sons, Bob (Carol) Farr of Warrensburg, Illinois and Joe (Ruth) Farr of Sunman, Indiana; daughter, Roberta Johnson of Florance, Kentucky; brother, Delbert (Nancy) Teeters of Trafalgar, Indiana; 9 grandchildren, 16 greatgrandchildren and sister-in-law Dorothy Chandler of Edinburgh, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Leroy Teeters, Leslie Teeters, Burl Teeters and Murl Teeters. Alberta graduated from Trafalgar High School. She was a member of the Calvery Christian Church in Edinburgh, Indiana and enjoyed quilting, cooking and baking. A funeral service will be conducted at 12:00pm by Pastor Nelson Lee on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, Indiana. Visitation will be from 10:00am until time of service. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh, Indiana.
