David Michael Barrett cremation not buried at Rest Haven

David Michael Barrett, 72, died Sunday, Jan. 23, 2011, at his residence in Edinburgh. Survivors include four sons, Eric Dale Barrett of Edinburgh, Daine Brian Barrett of Nineveh, Brett Michael Barrett of Franklin and Tad Christian (Amy) Barrett of Richmond; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Howard Barrett of Orlando, Fla., and Phillip Barrett of Indianapolis; and three sisters, Helen Kiewit of California, Donnis Allman of Boston and Joan Haynes of Greenfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe B. and Celia Mae (Rittenhouse) Barrett; four brothers, Morris, Lowell, Glenn and Keith Barrett; and three sisters, Melanie Ann Barrett, Norma June Nay and Carole Gwinn. No services are scheduled. Cremation is planned. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5635 W. 96th St., Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46278. Arrangements are being handled by Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh.
