Junior Burton, 79, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011, at VA Northern Indiana Health Care System. He was a resident of Edinburgh. He was born May 18, 1931, in Adair County, Ky., to the late Elic and Lura (Grant) Burton. Survivors in­clude a daughter, Linda Huber of Columbus; a son, David; a grandson, Michael Huber of Columbus; and a brother, Glenn Burton of Adair County, Ky. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Nolan, James and Clyde Burton; and three sisters, Lyda Cook, Betty Patterson and Lorene Hadley. He was a self-employed laborer. He was a man of strong faith and beliefs. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Memorial contributions may be made to the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System, 1700 E. 38th St., Marion, IN 46953. The Rev. Lewis Burton will conduct a funeral service at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, 302 E. Main Cross St., Edinburgh. Calling will be from 11 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
