Elizabeth Jean Stiltner Tungett Fugate, 66, of Columbus, died at 4:03 a.m. Thursday, March 31, 2011, at her home. Mrs. Fugate retired from United Technologies in Edinburgh where she worked 26 years. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Edinburgh, Edinburgh American Legion Auxiliary and Columbus Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. She enjoyed watching classic movies, listening to music by the Beatles, Neil Diamond and Elvis Presley and dancing. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 100 Keeley St., Edinburgh, with Father John Beitans officiating. Calling will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Born in Columbus Oct. 2, 1944, Mrs. Fugate was the daughter of Ellis Martin Stiltner and Lillian J. Jarboe Barnett. She was to married Roy Lee Tungett from 1975 to 1990. She is survived by her children, Pammy Bannister of Beech Grove, Tammy Tungett of Beech Grove, Anthony J. (Betty) Tungett of Cloverdale, Laurie (Buddy) Barrett of Columbus and Rebecca (Joe) Renn of Columbus; her stepmother, Ora Geneva Stiltner of Jenkins, Ky.; brothers, Paul (Gladys) Stiltner of Edinburgh, Joseph R. (Debra) Chandler of Edinburgh, Dale (Dorothy) Barnett of North Vernon, Tony (Beverly) Barnett of Taylorsville, Lonnie (Judy) Stiltner of Jenkins, Ky., Kenny (Dale) Stiltner of Dorton, Ky., Randy Martin Stiltner of Dorton, Ky., Jimmy (Gwen) Stiltner of Dorton, Ky., and Bobby (Reva) Stiltner of Myra, Ky.; sisters, Linda Sue (Kerry) Newsome of Jenkins, Ky., Gail (Ralph) Hall of Jenkins, Ky., Judy K. (Ronnie) Mullins of Dorton, Ky., Martha (Danny) Wright of Dorton, Ky., Mary (Bill) Ramey of Pikeville, Ky., Rheda Jean (Jason) Potter of Virgie, Ky., Connie Ratliffe of Conway, Va., Tammy (Keith) Canrell of Shelby Gap, Ky., and Lesa (Richard) Wright of Dorton, Ky.; grandchildren, Lisa and Amanda Blodis, Adara Renn, Brandon and Chad Bannister and Kelsey and Nathan Tungett; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Carl David Chandler Sr., and Tony and Jerry Stiltner; a granddaughter, Ashley Nicole Metcalf; and her stepfather, Harry Barnett.
