Hugh A. Grindstaff, 82, of Hope, died Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011, at Columbus Regional Hospital. A graveside service was conducted Monday at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh with the Rev. Lewis Burton officiating. Arrangements were made by Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh. Mr. Grindstaff is survived by sons, Rex and Jeff Grindstaff of Indianapolis; daughters, Tina and Lisa Grindstaff of Hope and Cathy Adams of Columbus; a brother, Stephen N. (Barbara) Grindstaff of Taylorsville; a sister, Janice Fletcher of Columbus; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Sue Souder Grindstaff.
