Marjorie Elizabeth (Taylor) Lowe, 90, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2011 in Franklin.    Marjorie was born August 13, 1920 to Leroy and Clara (Long) Taylor in Indianapolis, IN.  She enjoyed family life, gardening, canning, and sewing.  Marjorie also attended Tabernacle Christian Church and Franklin Memorial Christian Church.  Survivors include two children, Roger (Jane) Allen Lowe of Anderson and Rebecca ( Frederick E.) Bennett of Whiteland;  three grandchildren, Marjorie Buchanan, Amanda Bennett, and Nathaniel Lowe.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Laurence Lowe; two brothers, Dwayne and Emory Taylor; and two sisters, Ilene Williams and Janice Haptonstall.  A funeral service will be conducted Monday, February 21 at 1:00 p.m. at the Jessen Funeral Home, Franklin Chapel, 197 E. Jefferson St., Franklin, IN 46131.  Friends and family may call from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Jessen Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
