Mr. Charles J. Malson, 84, of Indian­apolis, died Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2011. He was born May 20, 1927, in Johnson County, a son of Charles F. and May (McCoy) Malson. He was married to Shirley Ann (McQuinn) Malson; she preceded him in death. Survivors include a son, Brian (Julie) Malson of Avon; a daughter, Karen (Bob) Foster of Greenwood; and six grandchildren, Brandon, Nathan, Lauren and Grace Malson and Kate and Jordan Foster. Mr. Malson served our country in the United States Navy. He worked at Carter Lee Lumber as a salesman for 25 years. A private funeral service will be conducted for the family. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W.
