Waive Charlotte (Leonard) Pace B-E-6-7

Waive (Leonard) Pace, long time resident of Edinburgh, IN, and most recently of the Indiana Masonic Home n Franklin, IN, passed away June 20, 2011. Waive was born in Washington, IN, June 11, 1913 to Helen and Jesse Leonard who preceded her in death. She was the first of four children: Robert Leonard (deceased), Geraldine Watson of Indianapolis, IN, and Ronald Leonard of Richmond, VA. She was married December, 1941, to the love of her life, Norman Pace Sr., of Hartford City, IN, who passed away in 1993. Waive and Norman had three children: Norman, Boulder, CO; Becky (Bud) Rubin, San Antonio, TX; and Nancy (Ron) Collins, Franklin, IN. She was also blessed with three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She graduated from Washington High School in 1931. Following high school, Waive served as Secretary to the Mayor of Washington, IN, and then with the Indiana State Governor's office. After raising her family, she co-founded and, served as Chief Financial Officer of Nor-Way Business Forms. Waive made numerous contributions to her community including service for many years as a leader for the Boy and Girl Scout organizations. She was a member of Eastern Star for many years and Mother Advisor for the Edinburg Chapter of the Rainbow Girls. A service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, 302 E. Main Cross St., Edinburgh, IN. Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery, Edinburgh, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to the Indiana Masonic Home in memory of Waive Pace, 690 State St., Franklin, IN 46131.
