David Keith Rhude, 80, died Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011, at Homeview Health and Rehabilitation Center in Franklin. He was a resident of Edinburgh. He was born Nov. 28, 1930, to the late Marion David and Edell (Miller) Rhude. He married Barbara (Burton) Rhude; she preceded him in death. He then married Rosetta (Warren) Rhude; she survives. Other survivors include a son, Dennis Rhude of Hope; a stepson, Glenn (Connie) Huber of Franklin; stepdaughters, Debbie and Martha Huber, both of Edinburgh; a brother, Bobby Rhude of Columbus; a sister, Betty Williams of Bradenton, Fla.; three grandsons; one stepgrandson; one stepgranddaughter; and five stepgreat-granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Virginia Ayres; brothers, Ted and Dean Rhude; and sisters, Fran Beddingfield, Donna Giles, Shirley Dyke and June Andrews. He was a member of Edinburgh Separate Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Air Force. The Rev. Guy Hardin will conduct a funeral service at 1 p.m. Monday at Edinburgh Separate Baptist Church, 905 S. Main St., Edinburgh. Calling will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday and from 11 a.m. until service time Monday at the church. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
