Carter Michael Lee Thompson, infant son of Christopher R. Thompson and Christina L. Williams of Edinburgh, was stillborn at 7:37 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at Columbus Regional Hospital. A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street. Calling will be from noon until service time Tuesday. A private graveside service will be conducted at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Other survivors include a brother, Camron G. Thompson, and a sister, Shelby L. Thompson, both of Edinburgh; grandmothers, Beverly Gross and Trina Cole, both of Columbus; and a great-grandmother, Phyllis Thompson of Columbus.
