Nathan Wayne Richards, 47 Danville, passed away September 3, 2014. Born January 19, 1967 in Columbus, IN., he was the son of Wayne and Linda (Roth) Richards. He graduated from Franklin High School in 1985 and was an U S Army veteran. Nathan worked for the Hendricks County Sheriff's Department for over 20 years, most recently as Senior Lieutenant Assistant Jail Commander. Survivors include his children, Mark Richards, Samantha Richards (Fiance' Jeff Miller), all of Greenwood; mother, Linda Richards of Franklin; sister, Maria (Tim) Sichting of New Whiteland and his children's mother, Cheryl Zink Richards of Carmel. Services will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville, with burial to follow with full military rites at 1:30 pm in Rest Haven Cemetery, Edinburgh. Calling will be from 4:00-8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 in the funeral home.
