Elsie L. Ford, 80, of Riverton, Wyoming, formerly of Columbus, died at 3:40 a.m. Monday, September 22, 2014, at her home. Mrs. Ford was a homemaker. The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Jerry K. Day Sr. officiating. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until service time Friday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Born in Columbus, September 5, 1934, Mrs. Ford was the daughter of Orville and Margaret Moffatt Reed. She married Francis Carl Ford March 24, 1949. Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Carl Ford of Riverton, Wyoming; sons, Albert (Jeanne) Ford of Columbus, Clay (Pat) Ford of Loveland, Colorado, Fairlane Ford of Riverton, Mark Ford of Riverton, Tracy (Melanie) Ford of Oregon, and Rocky Ford of Riverton; daughters, Bonnie (Jay) Crawford of Riverton, Leona (Phillip) Burton of Riverton, and Rosie (Stacy) Hill of Rock Springs, Wyoming; sisters, Mary (Jack) Davis and Ruth Meredith, both of Columbus; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, James Reed; a sister, Flora Wooley; a son, Gerald Ray Ford; and a great-granddaughter, Sasha Burton.
