Mary D. (Cody) Burton, 80, of Indianapolis died Thursday November 20, 2014 at Franciscan St. Francis Health in Indianapolis. Mary loved to watch the news on television. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Moore of Beech Grove, two sons, David Burton of Indianapolis and Mark Burton of Shelbyville, two sisters, Claire Stuckey of Greenwood and Judy Malone of Florida, 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Dorothy (Swartz) Cody, husband, Delmar L. Burton, brothers, Martin Cody. And Ed Cody and sisters, Janet Sandler and Rickey Payton. A funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday November 24, 2014, at the Jessen Funeral Home, Whiteland Chapel, 729 N. U.S. Hwy 31, with visitation Monday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.  Burial at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh, IN.
