Jerry L. Setser, 65, of Elizabethtown, died at 2:55 a.m., Saturday, January 17, 2015, at his home. Mr. Setser retired from Cummins Engine Company, November 1, 2014, where he had worked for 45 years. A graduate of Columbus High School in 1967, Mr. Setser was a motorcycle enthusiast; he enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and was a member of A.M.A., G.W.R.R.A., Retreads, H.O.G., and A.B.A.T.E., he also enjoyed horseback riding, camping, big family cookouts and get togethers. The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m., Wednesday, at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Marcus Speer officiating. Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday and 9 a.m. to time of service Wednesday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Born in Columbus, February 16, 1949, Mr. Setser was the son of James Ford and Delores Malone Setser. He married Patricia "Patty" Wysocki on April 10, 1992. Survivors include his wife; children, Timothy (Sherry) Setser of Nebraska, IN, Charles (Elizabeth) Setser of Columbus, Travis Setser of Scipio, Kelly-Jo Travis Cox of Edinburgh and Jamee Renee' Risk (Chad) Reed of Westport; grandchildren, Kelsey (Kenny) Wagoner, Trevor (Donetta) Setser, Harley Cox, Megan (Connor Morrison) Setser, Darian Knops, Madeson Setser and Kloey Grace Roth; great-grandchildren, Katlynn, Keely and Karalyna Wagoner and Lilliana and Nalani Setser; adopted son, Dave Erwin of Louisiana; adopted daughter, Gabby Combest of Greenwood; one niece and three nephews.
