Alice M. Johnson, 75, of Edinburgh, IN, passed away Feb. 12, 2015, at Homeview Center of Franklin. She was born on March 4, 1939, in Painesville, OH. She was the daughter of Arvo and Anna (Lilstrung) Kautiainen. She married James (J.O.) Johnson, January 19, 1959. He preceded her in death on March 22, 2014. She is survived by a son, James (Lisa) Johnson of Columbus, IN; daughters, Dara Simpson of Edinburgh, IN, Allison (Cary) Detling of Edinburgh, IN and Kelly Hagan of Columbus, IN; sisters, Ann Knuth of Fairport Harbor, OH, Alberta Comptom of Fairport Harbor, OH, Aileen Johnson of Fairport Harbor, OH and Audrey (Ed) Lahti of Eastlake, OH. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She was an US Air Force veteran. She was an office manager for Lancer Express Trucking Company. She enjoyed bowling and crocheting. Funeral services will be conducted at noon on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2015, by the Rev. Lewis Burton at Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church in Edinburgh. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 16, at the church and from 11 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
