Paul F. Norton, 79, of Columbus, formally of Edinburgh, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015, at Willow Crossing in Columbus. He was born Sept. 7, 1935, in Frankfort, Kentucky. He was the son of Benjamin Hardin and Julie Mae (Price) Norton. He is survived by a son, Paul D. (Grace) Norton of Edinburgh.; daughters, Cindy Dillon of Franklin, Pam (Jim) Shannon of Flat Rock, Nella May (Randy Bryant) Norton of Edinburgh; brothers, Charles Norton of Edinburgh, Jay (Linda) Norton of Taylorsville, Kentucky, Jackie Norton of Taylorsville, Kentucky; sister, Betty Douglas of Taylorsville, Kentucky; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Timmy Lynn Norton; a daughter, Shirl Ann Bryant and 19 brothers and sisters. He was a member of the Norton Ridge House of Prayer Church in Taylorsville, Kentucky. He formally worked at Amos-Thompson Veneer in Edinburgh. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Grace Tabernacle Church in Edinburgh by the Rev. Terry England. Calling will be from noon until time of service. Burial is at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Arrangements were made by Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh.
