Cheryl D. Moore, 67, of Edinburgh, Indiana, died on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 12:44pm at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility in Columbus. Born in McConnelsville, Ohio on September 26, 1947 the daughter of Woodrow Wilson and Marcella Marie Burgett Roach. Ms. Moore grew up in Nineveh and graduated from Nineveh High School in 1965. Upon graduation she went on to work 40 plus years before retiring at ALMA Plastics, which changed names throughout the years as UTA, LEAR, and IAC-NA where she worked as an IT Analyst. She enjoyed flower gardening, reading, and listening to audio books. Survivors include her mother, Marcella Roach of Nineveh; Granddaughter, Lanie Moore of Indianapolis, Indiana; Sister, Debbie (Mike) Robbins of Edinburgh; Brothers, Gayland (Debra) Roach of Nineveh and Lonnie (Vickie) Roach of Nineveh; Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews; and her two cats, Mr. Silver and Miss Prissy. She was preceded in death by her father; a son, Marc Moore; sister, Sandra West; and a nephew, Derrick Robbins. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at 1pm at Barkes, Weaver, & Glick Funeral Home, 1029 Washington Street, Columbus with Pastor Lewis Burton officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8pm Wednesday, August 5, 2015 and also one hour prior to services on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Memorial contributions may be given to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
