Mattie “Lucille” Smith, 86 of Edinburgh, IN. passed away September 21, 2015 at Franklin United Methodist Community. She was born April 6, 1929 in Brown County, IN. To Raymond Fox and Susan (Snyder) Fox. She married Bobby L. Smith July 4, 1953 and he preceded her in death on October 3, 1989. She is survived by a son John D. Smith, Edinburgh, IN.; daughter Bobbie L. (Trace) Powell, Edinburgh, IN.; grandchildren Kelci Powell-Burton, Hannah Smith and Baylor Powell; great grandson Bryer Emerson. She was preceded in death by a brother Jesse Fox and a sister Jean Johns. Over the years she worked as a care giver for several families. Funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday September 25, 2015 at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, Edinburgh, IN. Calling will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery, Edinburgh, IN.
