Kay Frances Hodson

Kay Frances (Cooley) Hodson, 85 of Franklin, passed away early Tuesday morning, January 19, 2021.

She was born on September 11, 1935 in Marion County, Indiana to Kenneth Charles Cooley and Olive Frances (Arbuckle) Cooley-Painter.  She is survived by children, Kim William Hodson and Sandra Kay Barrett; grandchildren, Donnie (Lynette) Watson; Michelle Vose; Melissa (Tim) Hakes and Seth Hodson; six great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.  She was preceded in passing by her parents; husband Bobby Hodson and one sister, Peggy Sharp. 

She was employed by Allied Signal for twenty-five years in the Press Department and also worked at T Shirt Express as an Embroider.  She enjoyed bowling and trips to the casino.

Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, January 23 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  A private family service will be live streamed on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. on Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home’s Facebook page.  A public graveside service will be Saturday, January 23 at 3:00 p.m. at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh, Indiana.  Per Covid-19 mandates, masks or facial coverings are required with social distancing guidelines.
