Jeremy R. Londeree, 45, of Columbus passed away at 1:03 a.m. on January 7, 2024, in Naples, Florida. Jeremy was born December 27, 1978, in Columbus, the son of Dan and Debbie Londeree. Jeremy was a former Columbus North Bulldog football player, Indiana All-Star punter, and member of the Columbus North sectional basketball championship team. Jeremy studied at Ball State University and Indiana State University. Jeremy was a very talented craftsman and carpenter. His passion included building furniture. As many are aware, Jeremy endured a long, difficult road reaching his 45th birthday. However, he believed that he had finally found his path to enjoy the next 45 years. With love and support from family and friends, he was determined to overcome his addiction. He sought guidance, spiritual advice and love and support from individuals who had also faced their demons. Jeremy was finally clean and sober and felt like he was on the path upward. He wanted so badly to mend relationships of all those he may have hurt during his selfish lifestyle. He desperately wanted the chance to be his true self again. Jeremy’s friends always said he was known for having a big heart, and always willing to help others. He was determined to be that man again. Survivors include his parents, Dan, and Debbie Londeree of Columbus; brothers, Corey (Samantha) Londeree, Brent (Tina) Londeree; sister, Kelley Cull; son, Asher Londeree; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Russell (Janet) Wheeler and John (Virginia) Londeree. The funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Larry Tingle officiating. A livestream of the funeral service may be viewed at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at barkesweaverglick.com. Family and friends may gather for visitation from 10:00 a.m. till time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. In memory of Jeremy memorial contributions may be given through the funeral home to the Columbus North Athletic Department or the Pein House.
