Teresa Jo Martin, 63, of Taylorsville, passed away unexpectedly March 1, 2024, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Teresa was born December 27, 1960, in Columbus, Indiana, the daughter of C.L. and Margie B. Melton Martin. Teresa worked in the patient services department at Columbus Regional Hospital for over fifteen years and loved to spend time with her family. Survivors include her sisters, Gail Weisner, Kimberly Martin: brother, Maurice “Mo” (Debbie) Holman, all of Taylorsville; nieces, Lacey (Jordan) Spurlin, Katee (Dalton) Meyers, both of Indianapolis; great-nieces, Harper Spurlin, Finley Spurlin, and her beloved cat, Spunky. She was preceded in death by her parents. Per her wishes a graveside service will be held for Teresa at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh with Pastor Lonny Goen officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her parents. Memorial contributions may be made to the Taylorsville United Methodist Church.
