George Wayne Beauchamp M-H-47-1

George Wayne Beauchamp, 70, died Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, at Franciscan St. Francis Health-Indianapolis. He was a resident of Edinburgh. He was born Jan. 25, 1943, to the late Charles D. and Vina Marie (Ewers) Beauchamp. Survivors include seven children, George Wayne Beauchamp Jr. of Martinsville, Joseph (Sara) Beauchamp of Franklin, Bradley Beauchamp of Indianapolis, Jeremy Campbell of Plainfield, Brandy (Rahman) Smiley of Columbus, Carmella (Eric) Harrison of Nineveh and Ann England of Edinburgh; five siblings, Wendell (Helen) Beauchamp of Nashville, Stella Mae Schell of Morgantown, Wilma Critser of Plainfield, Joyce (Bob) Oneal of Paragon and Barb (Marvin) Wolfe of Martinsville; 17 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Marshall, Francis Lee, Donald and Richard Leon Beauchamp. He was a former member of Edinburgh Fire and Rescue and was a retired truck driver for Nationwide Trucking Service. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, watching ball games and working on cars and hot rods. The Rev. Terry England will conduct a funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, 302 E. Main Cross St., Edinburgh. Calling will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
