Charles M. Breeding M-E-98-4

Charles M. Breeding, 69, of Franklin, died Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born Aug. 31, 1944, in Edinburgh to the late Noah and Mabel (Wheaton) Breeding. He married Linda (Burkhart) Breeding in 1974. She survives. Other survivors include his children, David (Rebecca) Bevis of Columbus, Debra (Jeff) McCormick of Franklin and Sherri (Michael) Foster of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Kelly (Sam) Shepherd, Shawna (Damon) Campbell, Courtney Bowling, Kelsie Bevis, Katelyn Bevis, Karissa Bevis, Klaire Bevis, Dylan Foster and Alex Foster; great-grandchildren, Nolan Shepherd, Cheyenne Campbell and Brooklyn Jones; and sister-in-law, Marcella Terry. He was a graduate of Edinburgh High School, class of 1962. He served in the U.S. Army from 1967 to 1971. He was a member of Old Union Church of Christ in Edinburgh. He retired from Bo-Witt Products in Edinburgh in 2006 after 30 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, vacationing, going to the casino, antique shopping and watching NASCAR. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, 302 E. Main Cross St., Edinburgh. The Rev. Lewis Burton will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
