Ambulance Service
In 1974 the Edinburgh Fire Department started the ambulance service and began transporting patients to the Emergency Room. Edinburgh Fire Department currently operates as the longest standing ambulance service provider by a Johnson County Fire Department, 50 years and counting.
The Fire Department is now a 24-hour Certified Ambulance Service Provider Paramedic Organization utilizing two ambulances.
