Top 10 Tips to save more water and energy

In your bathroom :

1. Install a water-saver toilet that uses only 1.6 gallons of water per flush.
2. Don't run water in the sink while shaving, brushing your teeth or lathering your face and hands.
3. Take shallow baths, shorter showers and consider bathing small children together.
4. Avoid using the toilet as a wastebasket.

In your kitchen :

1. Clean vegetables or rinse dishes in a pan of water, not under a running faucet.
2. Use the short-cycle option and air-dry setting on your dishwasher.
3. Run only full loads in your dishwasher.
4. Keep a bottle of drinking water in the refrigerator to avoid running the tap to get a glass of water.
